FAQ

  • What if I don't want to become a coach or practitioner? Can I still sign up for modules?

Please do! You can sign up for one module at a time through the Single Sprouts program.

  • What is the difference between a Holistic Nutritionist and a Holistic Health Practitioner?

A Holistic Nutritionist provides nutritional information, inspiration, and support to help clients achieve their goals. For example, a client may want to lose or gain weight, normalize their cholesterol or blood pressure readings, or recover from chronic illness. Maybe their goal is to transition to a plant-based diet with the intention of maintaining vibrant health. A Holistic Health Practitioner does all of the above, but has advanced training in holistic anatomy and physiology, energy medicine, detoxification methods, medicinal herbs, and more. This advanced training provides the practitioner with more insight and tools for supporting their clients. In either case, the coach or practitioner does not diagnose or treat and they do not replace the client's physician. Their purpose is to promote the client's health through nutritious clean food, and healthy lifestyle choices.

  • How long does it take to complete the Holistic Nutritionist program?

The Holistic Nutritionist program includes 10 core modules. Each module will take approximately one month to complete.

  • How long does it takes to complete the Holistic Health Practitioner program?

In addition to the 10 core modules, the practitioner program includes 8 advanced modules. Each of the 18 modules will take approximately one month to complete.

  • Does the Holistic Nutritionist program qualify me for certification?

Yes! Successful completion of the Holistic Nutritionist program will qualify you to apply for board certification through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) as a Health Coach.

  • Does the advanced program qualify me for certification?

Yes! Successful completion of the advanced modules will qualify you to also apply for board certification through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP) as a Holistic Health Practitioner.

  • Is there a maximum amount of time to complete either course?

Take as long as you need; however, there is a cumulative exam at the end of module 10 and also at the end of module 18. If you take too long to complete either course, you may need to review all of the materials before taking the finals.
